Sona Kmet

Sona Kmet volunteers at the Ukrainian community center in Martin, Slovakia, focusing on free time activities for teenagers and peer-to-peer support groups. Touched by the eruption of the war conflict in Ukraine, in early spring of 2022 she released her debut music single and video Big Brother, illustrating the inequality and harm caused by the oppressor against the oppressed. In February 2023 she and Tomas released their second song reflecting the situation of war-refugees, Senses, where they depict their face-to-face experience with mothers and their children fleeing the war atrocities.
