Anna Slatinska

I am a teacher trainer and I think it is very important to educate our candidate teachers in such a way that they are able to respond flexibly to different situations that arise in the classroom and to support not only their hard skills, but also their soft skills, including emotional and cultural intelligence. The opportunity to collaborate on the Photovoice project with colleagues from the University of Delaware and Dickinson College has shown me a way of doing things differently in my teaching in the context of mentoring new candidate teachers. Participating in the project has brought incredible benefits to me (my professional and personal development) and to various communities living in and outside of Banska Bystrica, and I am honored to continue this collaboration as part of my Fulbright Scholar program in Idaho, USA, starting in 2025.
